Web Administrator Intern

Position Summary
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Web Administrator Intern to support our growing digital presence. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy college student pursuing a degree in IT, web development, or digital communications or an early-career professional with experience in WordPress, website management, and content updates. You will work closely with leadership to ensure the site reflects our evolving service offerings, partnership updates, and digital marketing goals.
Please note: This position is a Summer/Fall Internship that will begin during the summer months and is expected to continue through December 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage backend of WordPress-based website (updates, plugins, backups)
- Assist in uploading and formatting new content (blogs, capability statements, case studies)
- Implement SEO best practices (meta tags, alt text, sitemaps)
- Troubleshoot layout or functionality issues
- Monitor website performance and suggest improvements
- Support integration of Google Analytics, forms, and newsletter tools
- Maintain security patches and user access roles
Preferred Qualifications
- College student or early-career professional with interest or experience in web technologies
- Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, or similar page builders
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website hosting platforms
- Knowledge of Google Search Console, Analytics, or SEO tools a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently
Information Security and Confidentiality Obligations
Interns must adhere to Noutrex Technologies’ information security protocols and confidentiality policies. This includes completing security awareness training, following secure data handling practices, and managing all internal content and access with discretion and professionalism
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to manage remote work responsibilities consistently
